Music Ally: Trqk Launches a Version of its TrqkIQ Data Tools for Publishers

Music Trade Publication Music Ally’s story about the launch of TrqkIQ’s Publisher Edition hails Trqk as one of the firms helping music companies dig into analytics of their music royalties

Trqk is one of the firms helping music companies to dig into analytics of their music royalties. It has just launched a new ‘TrqkIQ Publisher Edition’ to target publishers, production music libraries and other rightsholders.

Part of its pitch is the promise to find their missing money: ‘gap analysis’ tech to compare what a client has been paid by collecting societies versus the actual ‘on-air performances’ that their works generated. The tools can also be used to spot “missed registrations and cue sheets” to hunt down more royalties that have gone walkabout.

Trqk says it can ingest historical data sets and handle statements of up to 100MB in file size too.
